Praise Reports & Appeal

Dear Praying Friends:

Yeshua warned us not to hinder little children from coming to Him. He cherished their openness, sincerity, and capacity to grow. Yet sometimes — even unintentionally — our own brokenness can make it harder for them to draw near. When safe spaces are missing, young hearts struggle to encounter the love of God.

For many years, under Oxana’s faithful leadership, our after-school children’s program has been a place where kids can simply be in Yeshua’s presence. For some, it is the only place where birthdays and holidays are celebrated, where they are invited to share their hearts, and where they learn about the God of the Bible in a personal way.

Many of the children come from non-believing or extraordinarily challenging family situations. Their mothers are often doing everything they can just to survive, with little emotional or financial margin. In this reality, creating a space where children feel safe, seen, and loved becomes profoundly significant.

And we are witnessing transformation. Children who once struggled to communicate are beginning to open up. They are learning to resolve conflicts, express emotions, rejoice together, and build trust. Most importantly, they are given permission to be children — not little adults carrying family burdens, but young hearts discovering hope, joy, and faith.

Thank you for standing with us in this vital work and helping create a place where children can draw closer to Yeshua.

Praise Reports

This year we have welcomed many new children into the program, including several from non- believing households. Integrating them has not always been easy, but we are grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside each of these dear ones and their families.

Two siblings, A. (10) and B. (7), joined us from a single-parent home. Their mother, M., grew up in an orphanage and endured significant hardship and abuse. Today she is a devoted mother, doing her best despite many limitations. When A. first arrived, she was very guarded. She kept her jacket on throughout the program, sat alone, rarely spoke, and never smiled.

Slowly, something began to change.

Recently, for the first time, we heard her laugh. She now carries a gentle smile, and there is a new softness about her. To some this may seem small, but to us it is quite significant — a sign that the love of God is reaching her heart and bringing healing. It fills our team with encouragement and renewed hope for what the Lord is doing among these children.

Prayer Requests

  • Please pray that each child will come to a personal knowledge of Yeshua and grow in faith and trust in Him.
  • Pray especially for A., that she will continue to open her heart, feel safe, and experience deeper healing and joy.
  • Pray for O. (10). His mother recently underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor and is now recovering. The experience was very frightening for him — may the Lord comfort his heart and bring peace to their family.
  • Please pray for new volunteers with a genuine love for children and a clear vision to create spaces where youngsters can encounter Yeshua.
  • Pray for faithful financial provision so this program can continue to grow and serve the children who need it most.

Partnership Appeal

For many years, a local foundation faithfully supported our children’s program. Due to changes in their financial situation, they are no longer able to continue this partnership. While we are very grateful for their years of generosity, this creates a significant gap moving forward.

The monthly need for the program is $1,800. This helps cover Oxana’s part-time salary, refreshments, birthday celebrations, Biblical Feast gatherings, and occasional outings that allow the children to simply enjoy being kids in a loving, faith-filled environment.

If you feel led to partner with us in this season, we would be so grateful. Your support helps create a safe space where young hearts can encounter Yeshua, experience community, and grow in hope.
